Kemp TAKS scores rise

The percentage of students passing the state TAKS students this spring rose in most categories, but the district continues to struggle. Students are below the state average in 10 areas and math continues to be a problem among high school students.
Final TAKS scores and school and district rankings will be released by the Texas Education Agency in August.
