Hall of Fame induction leads homecoming

Homecoming activities will be highlighted with five being inducted into the Kaufman Sports Hall of Fame at an Oct. 19 luncheon.

Being honored are:

  • George Robert Long, Class of 1948, KHS (deceased)

  • Marvin Hill, Class of 1950, PHS

  • James Randall Coy, Class of 1960, PHS

  • Edgar Cotton, Class of 1960, KHS

  • Brooke Bounds Glass, Class of 1988, KHS


    • The luncheon begins at 11:30 in the high school gym. Tickets are $10 and are available at the administration building. Special-price tickets are available to service organizations by contacting Paulette Murrah at 972-932-2622.

    The homecoming game against the Ferris Yellowjackets begins at 7:30 p.m. at the stadium.
