Kaufman school to get life-saving heart device
Texas Health Resources, the company which owns Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman, is donating a number of automated external defibrillators to schools throughout North Texas, including Kaufman High School.

Outdoor camp
Students learned about fishing, beekeeping, recycling, gun safety and more and the outdoor camp this month an Scurry-Rosser Middle School. More than 20 children attended.

Hensarling staff helps Dist. 5 residents
Members of Rep. Jeb Hensarling’s staff will help residents with problems related to federal programs on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
Those programs include the IRS, military immigration, passports, Veterans Affairs or other issues.
Staff members will be assisted from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Terrell City Hall, 201 E. Nash St., Terrell.

Crandall-Combine library finishes science series
