Crandall $50 million bond vote Tuesday
With new houses springing from the ground, Crandall school officials are concerned about having enough schools for the kids. They are asking voters to approve a $50 million bond issue — $20 million to build a new school in Heartland now and $30 million for future use.
Critics say that while the $20 million might be justified, they are wary about writing a $30 million “blank check.”
Voting is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
