Two more arrested in joint narcotics investigation
A joint narcotics investigation by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and the Seagoville police department netted two more arrests this week. Six adults and a juvenile were arrested earlier this month for selling ecstasy tablets. [Click here for full story]

Ah, a sigh of relief
Elected officials got good news Thursday – the county’s property appraisals are up. They had been worrying about meeting rising costs without tax increases. Though the property value jump was a little smaller than last year’s, it probably will be enough to avoid tax increases.
