Harvey is six-feet tall, white, nattily dressed and usually invisible. The Pulitzer Prize winning comedy about Harvey and his best friend Elwood P. Dowd opens Kaufman County Civic Theatre’s new season.
The players include KCCT veterans Jim Holcomb as Elwood P. Dowd, Nancy Dansby as Elwood’s sister Veta, Marie Ballard as Aunt Ethel, Bill Glasscock as Dr. Chumley and Judy Beesley as Mrs. Chumley.
Also featured in the cast are Emily Cole as Myrtle Mae, Tom Marquez as Wilson, Elizabeth Linkous as Nurse Kelly, Stephen Cox as Dr. Sanderson, Bobby Cole as Judge Gaffney and Glyn Flowers as the cabdriver. KCCT veteran Jim Lott directs and Aaron Adams is the stage manager.
Evening performances of Harvey are at 8 p.m. Sept. 19, 20, 26, 27 and Oct. 3 and 4. Matinee performances are at 2 p.m. Sept. 21 and 28 and Oct. 5.
