Author Taylor Anderson, a historian who teaches at Tarlton State University in Stephenville, has crafted the first of a trilogy of alternate history thrillers about a “four-stack” destroyer in the Pacific that sails into a squall and ends up somewhere else – an alternate world also at war.

Mr. Anderson will sign copies of “Into the Storm” from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Books And Crannies in downtown Terrell.
