The Mabank schools early TAKS scores were up slightly this year. The percentage of students passing the tests rose in 14 categories, were down and nine and equaled last year’s in four areas.
Superintendent Russell Marshal said he is pleased with the scores and that the district is on track to be rated as recognized again this year.
Final TAKS scores and school and district rankings will be released by the Texas Education Agency in August.
