Lisa White-Cline and Thomas Smith were arrested this week in Seagoville after trying to sell speed to undercover officers. During a search of their car, police said they foung drug paraphernalia and methamphetamines.

Altogether, a joint narcotics investigation by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department and the Seagoville police, has netted nine suspects and drugs valued at $11,000.

While Tuesday’s arrest involved speed, other arrests were made for selling ecstasy.

Six adults and one juvenile were arrested earlier this month after Lawrence Oliver Lacour, 20 from Dallas, Kristina Ford, 17 from Henderson County, and Jacob Redman, 18 of Kemp, allegedly sold 70 ecstasy tablets to an undercover officer near Seagoville High School.

Mr. Lacour, known as Ollie, was arrested a week later after he met again with undercover officers and sold them 100 ecstasy tablets, police charge.

Investigators arranged to buy an additional 500 tablets from Fort Worth suppliers. Several people then met police on June 9.

Arrested then were Dino Osmanovi, 17 from Fort Worth, Alen Druzanovic, 22 Fort Worth, Dean Graham, 23 from Fort Worth and a 16-year-old juvenile from Fort Worth.

While the arrests have been made in Seagoville, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Sgt. Bryan Francis said the county has been instrumental in the investigation.

“A lot of this initiates in Kaufman County and then ends up in Seagoville,” Sgt. Francis said.
