Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Crandall, Texas will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th day of October, 2007 in the Council Chambers located at 114 South Main Street, Crandall, Texas at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to-wit:
1. Call to Order
2. Discussion Items
City Manager Update on development issues, departmental projects and community events
Update by Curtis Mathis, Code Enforcement/Building Official/ Animal Control, on current Departmental issues
Agenda Discussion
3. Adjournment

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above Notice of Meeting of the Governing Body of the above named Crandall City Council is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted a true and correct copy of said Notice on the bulletin board, at the City Hall of Crandall, Texas, a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times, and said Notice was posted on October 15, 2007, and remained continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or services such as interpreters for persons who are deaf or hearing impaired, readers, large print or Braille, are requested to contact Jana Bell at 972.427.3771 five (5) days prior to the meeting. NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE
GOVERNING BODY OF THE
CITY OF CRANDALL, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Crandall, Texas will meet at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th day of October, 2007, in the Council Chambers located at 114 South Main Street, Crandall, Texas at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to-wit:
1. Call to Order
2. Invocation
3. Pledge of Allegiance
4. Citizens – At this time citizens shall be allowed to speak (3 minutes each) on any matter other than personnel matters on a first-come, first-served basis provided they are listed on the sign-in sheet. No Council action is to be taken until such matter is placed on the Agenda and posted in accordance with law.
5. Approve the Minutes of October 4, 2007.
6. Approve the Minutes of September 27, 2007.
7. Discuss and Take action to accept the resignation of Council Member, Randy Yowell.
8. Presentation by Mayor Joe Baker to Council Member, Randy Yowell.
9. Discuss and take action on a request by Jay Volk, HW Heartland, L.P., to approve the Final Plats of Heartland Tract A Phase 3A and Tract A Phase 2B. This property is located north of the intersection of FM 741 and Blakehill Drive Parkway.
10. Discuss and take action to adopt Resolution No. 101507R accepting the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
11. Discuss and take action on scheduling a meeting for the State-required training for City Council Members.
12. Adjourn into Executives Session
13. Executive Session: Open Meetings Act, Section 551074: Personnel Matters (Police Department).
14. Adjourn from Executive Session.
15. Adjourn.
